Spirals

Spirals appear in natural things such as plants and animals, as well as in man-made objects and art.

Today, we have been looking at the Archimedean spiral, which is where the gap between the cu rves of the spiral stays the same.

We have used concentric circles (circles that are inside one another and have the same centre) to create an Archimedean spiral, but with straight lines instead of curves.
