This week’s spellings.

The suffix ‘able’ is usually used when the root word is a full word, e.g. break + able, notice + able.  When a word ends in an e, we have to decide whether to take the e off or leave it.  We figured out that if the word ends in ge (soft g sound) or ce (soft c sound) we keep the e.  Otherwise, we take the e off.
