In PE, we were given a challenge: we had to master the triangle dance! This involved us working co-operatively together and supporting one another. However, there were varying degrees of success at the dance (which can be seen by the video clips below.)

Macbeth
We have been working hard with our Shakespeare topic of Macbeth and examples of our marvellous work is on display inside and outside the classroom.
As well as making witch masks, we have created effective silhouette pictures using water colours. We have also learnt how to draw portraits and we were very pleased with our finished portraits of William Shakespeare. In Literacy, we have written detailed letters to Lady Macbeth from Macbeth which have been produced on stained paper to make them look authentic.
This week, we are finishing our diary entries (from either Macbeth’s or Lady Macbeth’s point of view) and we will also be writing detailed instructions on how to make a witch mask.
Meet our witches!
The witches have taken over the classroom. Do you recognise your witch?
Witch Masks
After lots of hard work and patience, we have finally finished our witch masks. They look amazing!
Macbeth Performances
This week, we performed our play scripts to the rest of the class and to the camera. We had to focus on intonation, tone and volume. Everyone rose to the challenge; even those who, to begin with, felt a bit nervous about performing.
