In year six we have been doing about Macbeth in literacy. We have learnt about it by acting it out and writing stories and diary entry’s. In the acting we played the part of a witch, Macbeth, banquo or Thane of glamis. We are also doing a radio or a TV report on the death of King Duncan so far we have only done the script for it. In topic we are all doing a different area of history in groups I am doing world war two we are going to be doing a museums not the hall aswell 📧 Ellie

This week, we have to make a TV or radio news report about King Duncan’s assassination. My group is Kaite, Jorja, Layla and me. I look forward to filming it.
In topic we have been doing horrible histories and in my group ,which is about the Romans, there is Me,Jola,Harris,Arthur and Ella-Mae.
Harris has made a box that you put your hand in and pick out a fact card that me and Ella-Mae made. Arthur and Jola made a prezi about Roman clothing and beauty.
Over two weeks in literacy we’ve been discussing about Macbeth by doing drama, descriptive writing and doing a radio/ television news report about King Duncan’s death. For a couple of days we were doing King Duncan’s death and we have been interviewing Macbeth, Lady Macbeth and Macduff. The King was found with multiple stab wounds to the chest also we have been trying to figure out who did it .
We have been acting out the story of Macbeth 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱 also we are doing a tv report on King Duncan trying to find out who killed him.

In our horrible histories topic we have been drawing portraits of a significant person in our area of history, and thinking of different ways to present interesting facts. In my group, me, Justin, Harris, Arthur and Ella-Mae have presented our area of history in: Fact cards, an information box🗳 and a prezi. My group is doing Romans and I am really enjoying it so far. My group and I are working well together just like I expected. 📕
For the past few weeks we have been reading the play Macbeth. We have done a couple different tasks on Macbeth but my favourite was the first one when we acted out the first three parts of the play.😊 We are only half way through too😳😳😳 At the moment we are writing up the scripts for our News reports about King Duncan’s death🔪🔪🔴🔴 I’m in a group with Seth, Holly and Katie. Earlier on we got to question the three main suspects. It was so funny😂😂😂 I’m currently the journalist who interviewed Macbeth, Holly was the one who interviewed Lady Macbeth, Seth was the one who interviewed Macduff and Katie is the host! I can’t wait to do more and get on to filming!😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
We have being doing work and reading the book over Macbeth by William Shakespeare.
